Origin :
Originally from the mountainous regions of the northern hemisphere, Juniper (or Cade) grows around the Mediterranean.

Description :
A small tree with brown berries 1 to 9 metres tall, found in the scrubs and arid hillsides of the South of France.

Properties :
Thanks to its antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties, Cade Wood essential oil can be used in the treatment of certain skin disorders such as eczema or acne. It is also recognised for its sebum-regulating and invigorating effects.

History :
The use of Juniper (or Cade) for its antiseptic properties goes back to before Jesus Christ. Used to purify cowsheds, Juniper also served as an external remedy for numerous skin complaints.
