Tropical Africa.

Description :
This tree with short, thick branches, standing 12 to 20 metres high, possesses cork that is highly resistant to bush fires. It produces berries that are greenish yellow in colour, from which Shea butter is made.

Properties :
Shea has healing and anti-stretch mark properties. Shea butter is a cell-regenerating agent, which gives it anti-ageing benefits. It is also has softening, moisturising and restructuring properties.

History :
The Shea fruit is harvested at full maturity in the month of June, a period of tornados, which remove the mature fruit.
