Latin name :
Lupinus albus L.

Origin :
Native to the Mediterranean region, it grows in the non-limestone soils of Southern Europe, Asia and Africa.

Description :
A herbaceous plant 20 to 40 cm high, growing wild in fields and along roads. The white flowers are arranged in a long spike.

Properties :
Lupine has regenerating and restructuring properties. Thanks to its wealth of minerals, it is also an excellent remineralising agent.

History :
Grown for more than 2,500 years, Lupine seeds were used in the Middle Ages in a mixture to combat skin complaints such as eczema.
